Saturday at the race

This morning Bec, Owen and I drove downtown to do the Indiana Symphony Orchestra 5K with our trusty photographer George, and our undying fans, Mam and Bop.



We were quick out of the gate. The course started at Monument Circle, went out on Market Street and through slow neighborhood streets before we turned home down Meridian.

The finish, finally.

Owen started with his mother, but then hit his own pace. He's been training with a cross country team this past month, loving every moment. Lots of what they talk about is not going out too fast so you have something left at the tape. By the look of his locks, Owen had something left at the tape.

Becca finished, too.

All in all a fun day. We all placed in the top five in our age groups and Owen came home with a piece of hardware. A good start to the weekend.
