Food Trade

You sometimes stumble upon the most curious and delictible of things when you're biking through the woods. When you're not certain they're edible, you don't eat them. You take them to someone who knows. Like the guy who runs your local fresh farmer's market.

And when he says they're chanterelle mushrooms, very delicious and very much desired by people who desire eclectic items like wild orange mushrooms, you trade them for a bagful of things you and your people desire. Like blueberries and farm fresh eggs and tomatos and fingerling potatoes.

Mushroom upside down cake can't hold a candle to blueberry upside down cake. Oh yeah.

Oh, did I mention we biked? It was great. Almost as good as the food.
