Favorite Places in Indy

Here are a couple of our favorite places in Indy:

Upland Brewery

The Pretzel Shop

Rebecca's new kitchen

Walk into the Village

During fall break the boys and I walked into the village for a treat. The trees looked especially beautiful and the 65 degrees and sunny was a nice touch.

Owen eats more food than you think his little body could hold. He enjoyed a Boogie burger with bacon cheese and lettuce. If you are craving a good burger and fries Boogie Burger in Broad Ripple village is were its at.

Good Eats

It is the fall and our thoughts turn to baseball playoffs and food. Here are some of our favorites:

Well this isn't food but it is a favorite. Our friend Maria brought this growler to Rick. It was filled with Uplands Oktoberfest Beer. You can refill the growler down at the Upland Tap Room at 46th and College. It tasted like fall.

Rick has started making sweet rolls. They are fantastic and the best part is that he uses the same recipe that his grandmother used. The recipe has been deciphered and updated by Rick's aunt Kathy Meyer. They are the best!

State Middle School Cross Country Meet

div>

The boys both ran the state meet race this weekend. It was a drag that it was so cold and rainy but the kids did not seem to mind at all. The boys competed with lots of other 6th,7th and 8th grade boys from all over Indiana. the course was really nice and we had lots of opportunities to see them running.
