100 Acres at the IMA

The boys and I traveled seven minutes from our home to a fabulous oasis of art in the middle of our metropolitan area. It is accessible by car, bike and walking. The Indianapolis Museum of Art had the official unveiling this last weekend and we could not wait to go see it. We were there with people from all over the city and even other states. There were school kids, grandparents with babies and lots of families. The IMA is a treasure in Indianapolis.

Hello.... Anyone out there?

Well you may notice that the title of this blog has changed. That is because we moved. We moved about 150 yards to the west and now have the park across the street instead of behind our house. The house is a mid-century ranch and I am trying to design it as such....it all started with the Eames lesson plan at school.
A lot has happened since our last post. Rick has coached an entire session of Metros baseball. He had two groups of kids that he would coach three times a week. He also was the skipper for the FBA White Sox and the FBA Dodgers. We had another successful crawfish boil, attended a great Indianapolis 500, wrapped up another school year for all of us and moved our household. Finally it seems we are catching our breath and settling in for a relaxing summer. Now, back to the posts.

Final Four Weekend

I took George, Owen and David downtown to watch the Bulldogs practice. We were surprised at how crowded Lucas Oil Stadium was. It was really cool to see everyone so excited.

Technology is so great. While I was teaching I got an e-mail. In it was a picture taken by Bop's phone while he and the boys were at NCAA Hall of Champions today. We are excited to be a part of the final four weekend. We are heading to the teams' open practices tomorrow. Go Bulldogs!!
